The Scottish SPCA, Scotland’s only all animal rescue service, is seeking to appoint an experienced Data Protection Advisor.  

Reporting to our Risk and Governance Manager, the successful candidate will assist with the management, organisation and administration of the Scottish SPCA’s data protection responsibilities, ensuring compliance and championing best practice.

 

You will have an understanding and appreciation of the data protection principles, experience of working in a demanding role with competing priorities and communicating with a wide range of people in a variety of situations. You will be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and demonstrate a focus on continuous improvement. 

This is a hybrid role for 28 hours per week which can be worked flexibly Monday to Friday, however you should be able to commute to our Dunfermline HQ at least once a week for meetings.
