We are current looking for 4 Wildlife Drivers to join the Wildlife Operations team on a fixed term contract for a period of 6 months.

  • Hours – 26.25 hours per week,  working 4 days in 8 on a rota basis
  • Salary – £16,380 per annum
  • Contract Type – Fixed Term for 6 months

What does a Wildlife Driver do? 

Our Wildlife Drivers are there to provide a caring and safe environment for all animals and maximise their comfort in the transportation to the National Wildlife Rescue Centre, Fishcross by maintaining a high standard of animal husbandry.

 

Overview of main duties and responsibilities

  • Uplift wildlife casualties from Society Animal Rescue and Rehoming Centres and transport them to the National Wildlife Centre at Fishcross.
  • Transfer animals safely and with care between Animal Rescue and Rehoming Centres as required.
  • Work as part of a team with other staff members and volunteers at the centre.
  • Develop and maintain good relationships with other staff, volunteers, and representatives of other agencies and members of the general public.
